Established in 1997, the Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (SIIRD) is a joint-venture formed between Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) to promote, facilitate and support joint industrial R&D projects, between companies from Israel and Singapore with the aim of commercializing the innovation successfully.
SIIRD provides partner search assistance to companies from Singapore and Israel keen on R&D collaboration and provides financial support of up to US$1million in funding per project.
Through joint R&D collaboration and SIIRD’s funding, companies have created new products and technology, expanded product portfolio for customers, created new markets and shortened the time to market for their innovations.
To date, we have approved over 178 R&D projects resulting in employment of 2,591 research personnel and a total research investment value of more than US$233million dollars.
